Glorious Food (Yes Food Again)

Its been a long time since I had some fun and laugher le. Last friday went to work, was happy lor, cuz finally out of the house. Looking forward to meeting x.mel, sis and eileen. Actually wanted to chill onli, but we went to Manhattan Fish Market at (flagship outlet) PS. Lucky I was so used to making my bookings if not we wun never get a table. The place was booked and packed and all... Me and Mel went in at 645, and after our dinner at 8 plus, still got ppl queuing to get a table. *gosh* and There was a table of like 15 over pax. It was crazy.

After a while, my sis arrived and we got down to having some chips first. At $2.90 a basket of cajun seasoned chips.... hmmm it was good and cheap. Next time tea time can chill here cuz from 3-6pm lattes and espressos going at 95cents each. Great deal. Eileen onli came at late 7pm, by then the waiters were eyeing us eagerly for us to order, eat and SCRAM!! Hahaa....

Anyway me and x.mel got our Platter for 2 first, 2 hungry rats... keke, and jiejie pinch some food, but we still cannot finish. It was good but not great. Still Fish and Co better. But the chips and calamari was better cuz both were well seasoned. But the prawns were disappointly little, (at 4 per platter as compared to 10 per platter at fish&co). And they flamed it up, supposed to impress us, but we hated that idea, cuz toxic lor. The flame so near. And the prawns were covered with thick cream mayo and cheese. Both opposing taste were too strong individually and yet not distinctive enough to stand out together. So all we tasted was a creamy (revolting) mess. But it was relatively cheaper at $29.90 per platter and since it can feed like 3-4 pax. But I rather recommend it to guys and esp NS 'boys', cuz it had lotsa rice and fries which can give the guys the carbo they need.

After eating, we went shopping for awhile at carrefour. We (except sis) were tempted by choco coated donuts... Eileen bought a box in the end. And we had a laugh in the supermarket when x.mel asked some funny condom questions. Shall not elaborate.

And as with all chilling out/shopping sessions, we were bound to end up at a cafe. Me and Eileen were desperate NOT to go home yet. Cuz we had been hibernating at home for too long. Me for my lack of ppl to go out with and wisdom tooth reovery, and her with her pregancy tiredness.

We went to BAkerzinn and all were glued to the cake display selection. @_@ After picking our cakes, we ordered some teas as well. Eileen made the safe choice of camomile tea, and x.mel with her soap taste Rose tea, and mine and sis's sucky air freshener lavendar. I have decided that lavendar is good onli for the nose and never on the taste buds. Bitter after taste and all... and YUCKS. For $8 2 serving. At least the cakes were good. Veri good in fact. Wanted strawberry short cake but no more le.... In the end i got Fraiser, cuz I din want choco cakes, so common. I love pistacho nuts, So I got fraiser as it is made of Pistacho Butter and filled with strawberries... hmmmm....

And saying of strawberries, I wanna laugh. Friday noon i met dear for lunch at Chinatown, after that we walked ard and we went to a street fruit stall. We both eyed some strawberries the uncle selling. We both love strawberries. But it was $13 per box, too ex. Din wan it le, But the uncle said in chinese to my boy. "Buy some for ur gf lah. Very nice. Buy lah..." but we start to walk away and he said again, '' Buy for your sweet heart lah.'' Hahaha... so rou ma lor.... so turn off too... of cuz we ran off fast.



Ok back to the cakes. These were the other cakes that they ordered. We tried all and hmm choco is rich and good!! Eileen jie and sis were laughing at me and mel as they cannot understand why we must take pic!! Everyone tucked in to their cake and I was only half way thru when they finished theirs.

Then we chatted and was funny. Topics on men, sex, porn and our dads. Oh I haven mentioned we are all sisters and cousins. Then mel and her lesbian character and about age gap and holding hands and all... Haha we had a laugh. Relaxing and i was crappy and all....

When it was about 12am, we scamper off to take a cab home. We joked in the cab and all and the uncle also joined in for one bit. When mel told us she wanted to take french, I was like 'huh, learn french for? Who can u speak french to? French fries?'' haha Ok i knw i was lame, but tt day happily high mah.

Reach home and mummy was happi to see me. SHe was smilling... haha... Then tt night i was so sleepy. Cuz the previous night i slept for 3 hrs onli (prob zzz), and had lavendar tea, all so smoothing....

The next dat sat was supposed to be a whole day out. But it was raining and so nice to sleep in. dear woke up very early and wanted to meet me early but cant get me cuz i still in lala land. Then by time got up, watch super star, mummy say cooked my lunch and all. We never made it out to orc or bugis as plan. But we went to CCK to watch my Charlie and the choco factory. Dying to watch lor. But abit short and all, but johnny depp still the best. hahaha funny lor and so gay. I like! The squirrel damn cute man! Like my hamham... So cute, I also want to own one.

After the movie I was in a crave for choco.... keke. Went to NTUC and bought this Meiji Choco, cuz it looked the most like the Wonka bar in the movie. If u know me, I'm never one who who buy milk choco, but this time, meiji had onli milk choco bar and i still bought it. After buying it, was so happy I grinned!!

I finished the whole bar with a cuppa. *happy ger* haha.... See my Half eaten bar.... Nice lor... and I dunk it for a few sec in my hot coffee till it semi melt and taste like fudge. Hmmm willy wonka choco. Hahaha



It was a nice relaxing day at home and de came for dinner and we watch tv and had tea with bro till 12am and de left for home...

Nice glorious food these 2 days, plus mummy's many dishes for dinner and lunch. Oh yah I made my thai oriental salad again. Got the Thumbs up.!! Yeah!
