A Warm and Loving Feeling...
This morning was so tired that dint even knw that i off-ed my alarm. All thanks to my couz mel's early morning sms that woke me up. Shot up... rush and out of the house in ten min. Thank god, buses were good today. *phew*
In the bus, there was a lil angmoh boy with orange curly hair sitting beside me at first, then he leapt on his dad's lap a while later. His dad was talking to his frd who was with a kid too. I heard them talking while i was half-sleeping...
Dad (to frd): .... fire in her (refering to wifey about her job)...
Kid: daddy, what fire?
Dad: Fire in a woman, means desire, means what in the woman interested in.
Kid: oh.
Then the dad was not talking to his frd after awhile, and was telling his son about when he was a baby.
Kid: I rem injuring my head on the tap and when i look into the mirror I cant rem who i was.
Dad: Laughing** and saying something funny to son.
(both laughs)
Dad: *said something more about his son's clumsiness...*
Kid: How old was i??
... ... (continue to answer son's questions about everything he see and all)
This lead me to think about 2 issues, firstly, if it was a singaporean mother with a kid this would be the communication...
Kid: Mummy, what is that, what is this?? ??
Mom: Haiya! Dun ask so much lah.
Kid: (-_-)
Second issue is our english. Ang moh kids can speak better english then us at times...
Angmoh kid: How old was i dad?
Local Kid: Papa, that time i how old ah??
Me: (-_-)
Hahahaha.... But It puts a smile on my face when i see the communication between the father and son. The father was so patient and answer all the kid's query without being pissed. Remind me of an article about communication between parent and kid and the kid's growing process. And I think that father was doing the right kinda communication....
Good!
