Super freaking rude....Went to Amoy food centre with 2 colleagues today. And I so wanted wanton mee stall kinda food, so I went to the level 1 somewhere in the middle row there is a first stall selling wanton mee. The stall had Sylvester Sim's face on the poster promoting it as one of his fav stall. My first time trying that stall and i was so digusted with the uncle.
1) There wrote $2 beside SS's face and in one corner is $2.50 and $3. Normally when u order is default no 'upsize' but he charge me $3
2) Chopsticks were place in a metal tin with the ends (the ends of the chopsticks where we put into mouth) were sticking our from top. That uncle took a pair for me. And usual ppl take is from center of the stick right? But this uncle use his index and thumb to nick a pair out for me by the very tip ends. Shit so dirty!!! and he handle money and all with that hands too...
3) The ultimate. I ordered soy sauce chikcen noodles in soup and I always request for 'ru zhi' (black sauce gravy) to be added in my soup so its salty and dark the way i like. After my noodles are done, I asked the uncle nicely if he can add some Ru Zhi for me.... he "HUH!!" So I repeat and brought my tray with the bowl forward a little so that its easy for him to add for me since the ladle like 10 cm from his hands. But you knw wad he did....
He use both hands to hold my other side of the tray and shove it back towards me rather hard and yell in chinese "PUT RU ZHI WHERE GOT NICE TO EAT!!!!" He practically yelled no kidding and stare at me. Using his hands like I say he shove the tray back at me and away from his stall and asked the lady behind me for her order. He is So FREAKING RUDE. Somemore I like to add, who is he to tell me not nice and dun add.
I mean some old ppl can be so mean. I really hope his stall close down soon and that he will have no more business.
