Traditional Peranakan place - old photos, vintage stuff all over. And i like how they used the cloth to cover the lights to create a cosier atmosphere. And they have won loads of awards too....
We ordered Honey Lemon (Him) and Lime Juice (me)...
And someone isnt all that pleased with his drink, cuz not sour enuff haha. He even squeeze the lime that came with the belacan into the drink.

Bua Kuluak Fried Rice (with cashew nuts) - the best ever fried rice i had eaten. Fragrant and so delicious. I would pay $10 for this rice.
Babi Ponteh - Not as nice as i tot so. But then cuz I aint that big a fan of chunky pork.
Ayam Bua Kuluak - My fav Peranakan dish ever... but only have 1 black nut (2 halves). Too bad ah ma haven cooked this for a LONGGG time..... and ah ma version is with Pork... why pork!!?!
A mouthful of Ayam, Bua Kuluak and Bua Kuluak fried rice... *bliss*
Sotong Hitam... my ahma can cooked it better.... altho theirs is softer.
And Cabbage roll with Otah inside. Not bad... but for $4.80.... 1 roll (3 pcs) not worth!

Bottom: Fresh Durian Chendol.. not bad.
I will go back again to eat...
But the service can be much improved. And dun underest the sucky location. It gets filled up pretty quickly....
