...Have a Merry Christmas & a Blessed New Year...

I love christmas!! When the lights are up, people are feeling happy, presents are being exchanged, and thanksgiving are made. This weekend marks the start of my christmas celebrations.

Sat 19 Dec (noon): Met up with my ex marketing colleagues at Vivo. Since keng and I reached first, we went on that ship that was docked behind vivo and got a few books and a smaller bible. We had a good lunch at our fav place, Barcelos. I am glad most of us are out of PC, as we had hoped last year that we shall not celebrate xmas this yr in PC anymore.

Before I met the gers in Barcelos, I actually help a popo find her way back to Seah Imm's bus interchange. It was nice walking popo there and chatting with her. Her look of gratitude really warms my heart, esp when she held my hands before she left.

Sat 19 Dec (Evening): After meeting the gers, baby and I went to his grandma's place for xmas dinner. It is a yearly affair and I agree with baby that this year, conversations with the uncles and aunties flowed with more ease and it was a good night. We came pretty early and was the last to leave :) I made cheesecake too, but it melted as it did not have enuff gelatine, but still the uncles were pretty nice and commented on my cake.

Sun 20 Dec (Noon): Arranged to meet the SMU kakis for picnic lunch at botanic for xmas lunch, but ended up at Hooters for brunch. It was a pretty good chat up as it wasnt crowded and its pretty cheap. We had 2 lunch sets (Chicken salad set and Chicken mushroom pasta set, both with soups, ice cream, 2 drinks, 2 coffee/tea), Hooters wings, fried shrimps, curly fries. Its really nice to have friends like these who doesnt judge you and just enjoy the company to talk crap with.

YJ bought a vintage 1970s glasses and we all took turns to take photo in it. She always have interesting stuff to show us. a joy to have ard everytime :)
