6 Glasses of superb red wine = laughter + high headedness1 Spanish Coffee with Grand Marnier + Tia maria = Sleepless night + hot sensation
1 Sleeping pill = blissful sleep after tossing for 3 hours
1 phone call from bitchy aunt = irritated morning!!!!!
It was my aunt's 60th bday yesterday and it was full of song, dance, laughter and happiness. Of course from the bday gal herself. Every family had a 'representative' to sing karaoke at the restaurant. Food was good and I admit we ate a lot. The table arrangement was a bit weird but altogether it wasn't such a bad day.
Today was the day that we see and hear the talents of the many cousins and uncles that we have. Great singing for some and while other it was just sound + pure entertainment (comical kinda entertainment haha).
The wine was so good that I was just knocking off glass after glass. Yummy, and mummy managed to get a bottled home. *Grinz* I love a good wine. All thanks to Ethel jie for having such good taste and the bday gal (aunty) for paying for the wine. Was tipsy after the bottoms-up with my sis. Haha… then we actually planned to go on for more drinks and chat etc….
Turn out, 3 couples fly aeroplane ... sianz diao. Another cousin and hubby actually dropped their gal at my aunt’s place for the night to hang out with us. Only to have 6 ppl in the end. But not too bad… only that the night ended pretty early. I was expecting like 3am reach home kinda thing. But its ok, jiejie’s bf specially took the car from my place and drove to Altivo just to bring us back and then he took cab home. And tml 6am he got duty to do too.

Today!!
Met the guys and JY for lunch at Indulgz. Its like a farewell lunch cuz the guys are graduating and Jy is flying off in 10 days time. Forget to take photos as a group! Wasted. We had loads of fun and food.
With all the raves about the food at that place, we found that it was overly overrated. JY tomato soup taste exactly like her pasta sauce base, just a tad saltier. And Glen's mushroom soup was caked with thick dbl cream. Then when JY's pasta came, it had the same tomato base but was rather bland. Glen had this cripy pasta which is rather unique but the base taste all too familiar. Its like a watery version of his soup earlier.
YW had this wrap which is think is pretty ok. Safe choice. And Chris had this butterfish thingy which the waiter came inform him after some of them had almost finished their course that his fish just came in and is preparing now. Duhz!!
And through, my salad was the last to arrive. Hello how long does it take to PREPARE A SALAD??? But it was pretty good just that the bacon was fried in reused oil. Can taste it. But their potato chicken shrooms pie was pretty good i must say. And the calamari was just fried batter.
We were greatly disappointed with that place. After all the raves and recommendation given by some I knew. *sign* I have had better.
Anyway after lunch we went our way and i go home for my much needed sleep. Then woke to make this Rocky road dessert that was to be for tml's potluck session in school. Really not needed if u ask me.

A little side tracking... that day I went to bf's place to tranfer all my back up files from his sister's external hard drive, I also took the chance to see my darling rover for awhile. He was so full of joy and wanted me to keep carrying him. Oh my boi.
After 10 mins I had to go because dad and mum were waiting at the hawker while having lunch. So i told bf's dad that "Ok uncle I going off now". And immediately rover whines his baby whine everytime when he wants TLC. It seems as tho he really knew wad we were saying!! I wast even at the door yet, in fact I was still sitting at the computer desk when I said that I am going. Oh the poor boi, must have missed his daddy's patting and sayanging. Bf really Pampers him alot and used to give rover his daily dose of TLC. keke
