Drawing near...From this week onwards to the end of the year, its excitement every week. Just this coming week alone, I will be having my inaugural event. The one that I started from the start to the end. The one that set my heart racing (over some legal issues) and the one that starts from HK first. While my colleagues will be in HK running the event, I will only set foot at the event venue for the Singapore leg on Thursday.
It is also thursday that bf is coming back from Aussieland. Cant wait. Haven seen him for 4 mths. Took half day on friday too to accompany him :D
The following week is one that many of us have been looking forward to... our first UGLY BETTY PJ PARTY. Really cant wait. It should be fun with all the food, jokes and great company.
And then... the week after, my second event to be held. And its off to HK on Friday (5th Dec). The week I am in HK is also the week bosses are away on Hols. Wad a waste haha.
Then its our inhouse XMAS party in mid mth!! Yea. I luurrrvvveee christmas!! Bring out the red + Greens and the xmas carols.
Then its the new year!! And de's birthday... weeee wad a year!!

Mix Feelings....This weekend I am having a whole load of mixed feelings. Excited over reading and doing my HK trip research yet do halfway lazy, and I am also anxious and worried over work and over my 3 new projects to rush before i can go for my hols peacfully... I am also happy, excited, anxious, scared about bf coming back for the holidays... after all life have been wad it is for 3-4 mths.
I feel sianz about working tomorrow. Too many to handle I scared i cannot make it.

This time next monthI will be in HONGKONG!!! Wheeee my first time there. I know damn sad right at age 24 and nv been there. Not even BKK or TW. Anyway after all the hassle and sourcing and panicing...

2 Days of Fun!!We had our fun-est bbq ever yesterday!! But more about that when the pictures are sent to us :)
Meanwhile... last night han stayed over and I accompany her to Liang Court to collect her Jap comics. Along the way we had so much fun!! First we went Central... bought Jap ice cream... Buy 1 Get 1 Freee.... Green Tea + Tiramisu... Yummy!!
Then we walked over to Liang Court and went in search for our first meal of the day.... Since han nv went down to the supermarket alone before (as in nv really explore) we went down and check out the food... I smell the Jap curry from far and it was SO SO SO good.... I set my mind on tt for lunch liao. Then they have alot to choose from and so I decided and Han too, to get the Deluxe Set which have a Mix of 4 types of items (cannot choose)
Super yummy..... the curry is like the best ever i have ever eaten!! Must bring dee there when he is back!! Then han and I went to explore the supermarket... went crazy woahing at everything. Heezzz after lunch we went to collect her comics and shop ard Kino for awhile....
Oh and we bought Choux from one shop at the basement... haven eat it so dunno nice mah.. and I got a mini cheesecake for 70cents and a macaroon for 80cents.
After that we went back to Central for coffee.... I wanted Manhattan Fish market so we went there. I ordered fries cuz my coffee 95cents only so paiseh... and to our horror the pepper shaker inside had tons of fungus.... white fluffy fungus that I tot wad cottom wool!!!!!! Tt got Han so mad...
After tt lil tea we headed off towards home... as I was walking to cross the road, I chance upon Club Marc again... and decide to go in see awhile cuz like sale... OMG SO MANY THINGS SO CHEAP!!!!!!!!!! Spend 2 hours inside and came out 80 bucks poorer. I like that the fitting room dun have to wait and no limit on no. of items to bring in.... I had to control and gave up a few items i liked... got this 3/4 sleeves shirt dress that was $159, now slashed to $49.90... how can NOT BUY RIGHT?!?! But i din... I gave this dress up for an ankle boots at $29.90!!
Since I forgo that red boots from Aust... i Have been looking for another one.... and this one is so cheap. So many items are like 19.90. Belts all 9.90... Happy Happy Happy!!!!!!
Then today I finally got my Organiser.... a lil something i took part in... as part of charity. Supposed to hand in our fav recipe and if selected will be featured in a 2009 organiser. Mine is Oct recipe!!! Tot of buying more... one to keep others to use and give away... but at 10 bucks a copy... hmmmm.... not that exp compared to the mini cutesy ones sold at Kino (like up to $25 bucks lor) but 10 bucks still ex... but also for charity.... how how?? Let me know if u wanna buy too yeah? Inside got many more other recipes.

Sometimes....Life is good on a weekday. I have been trying to fill up my life with little treats along the way. Like shopping trips with colleagues (esp to VIVO Daiso, omg you cannot imgaine our spending each time we go there.), dinner, Picnic fridays, gyming sessions to start soon etc etc. Then I have been meeting up with sec frds, poly babes and smu kakis... Life have been good so far.
Its is so on when the weather is fine at work. Glad to have been assigned a new topic to work on... cuz the current ones are just omg on and on and on.... So looking forward to these events for now.... most tot of by yours truly...

F1 Singapore Grand Prix
McLaren Mercedes - Lewis Hamilton...was HOT is all sense of the word. The cars are super cool, the crowd is huge and the weather is HOT and humid. haha it was a rather impromtu decision to go visit the track. After our massage, sis and I went for a quick bite for dinner and din know where to go so we ended up walking down towards the track hoping to just hear and see the lights. But as we walked down we can hear the engines and the people getting more and more crowded. Somehow we ended up by the FENCE!! haha. At 8.23pm we were waiting, and me wanted to wait till the qualifying rounds which happens at 10pm. We got 2 spots to watch from, and the first spot was crazy. People actually pulled down the banners to reveal the track in full view. Just opp one of the stand. Its madness. Super cool, super loud. Wow!!

Event 1: Sis BIG day!!!

Wow, busy and exciting day!! Got up by my sis screaming in the morning "hey help me~~~ my nail fall off. Quick quick!" haha. After glueing her nail back for her, i sleepy prepare the wasabi/chilli bread for the Groom and Xiongdis (XD). Then sis jiemeis (JM) arrive. They are super enthu, happy and look so energetic. And me?? I just got up, look sleepy and blur. After bathing, suddenly everything like a rush. Sis dressed and make up, me too and photographers snap snap, video take take... and then BEEP BEEP~~ Beep beep~~ Borr Borr haha the groom and his gang arrived! One bridal car + 4 XD car beep beep in the morning in a cute tune haha...
I was in the room with sis while the JM do their neg and sabo-ing. The XD very onz and help the Groom eat most of everything. Breakkie was Wasabi + Mum grown chili padi bread, Sheng shiong super concentrated lime cooking juice (undrinkable really!! Last time i buy I added 10ml of juice to 5 heaps spoon of sugar still sour!! and the XD can drink can!), Milo with super sweet condense milk and Baby bittergourd raw and pure.
[Fast forward the day]
Zoom to groom's hse, his ah ma house, back to his house, back to my house -- all is jincha + buffet
Then after that we went to hotel. Waa suite is good. At least got like joining rooms. One side is mainly for the couple, the other side is for the XD and JM to prepare and bathe. Then 2 of sis frd and I opt for the makeup and hair-do costing $102 per pax...
then we went down to the recep le. Guest din come at the earlier part... till I was supposed to go up to the room to assist sis... then guest start coming in. And gan cheong abit, its time for sis to go down for 1st march in. Very nice lor... but i can onli see from back cuz we are still outside at recep area. Got XD in No.1 Uniform and sword. And sis grand gown + instead of roses, guest shower the couple with "xi" paper cut outs. My family and I use the paper puncher to punch out and cut the "xi" for 2 nights. They come in Rose Pink, baby pink and deep red. Very nice and novel lor i think. MY idea!!! Then we clear the room, save angbao in safe, wait in room for sis to change to night gown. Waited with her and the groom for their sec march in. By teh 2nd march in, they pour champnge and the mgr trip over the dry ice bucket can!! the entire floor all smokey haha... and dad say wa very nice very smokey till whole stage like cannot see. Then Yum Seng and the usual photo taking. Only Then i get to eat lor and all my food is like COLD DISH!! Even my sharks fin like silicon pad haha. So tired after that... thank thank and go home damn sey....
To remove my make up i had to wash my face 4 times with make up remover and then facial wash. Phew.... finally can slp...

Its THE Day tml...Today i went to my fav little japanese place to have my sashimi bowl. Disappointing... price increase yet the standard abit drop. The sashimi is wet and caused the seaweed at the bottom to be soggy. But fish still fresh
After that went to Browhaus to have my brows done with sis and then took a bus to elements for my massage (damn shiok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and my mani. Now i got pretty pink shimmery nails.
All set for tml.... but i got constipation lately and have a bloated tummy now. Tml gown how!!!!

Random Posting again....Been trying hard to keep up with my school work, but it aint easy. Just glad that we are halfway thru the sem already and am having my one week break now. At least now I am starting my drive into doing something haha... after buang-ing my first test of this sem... time to wake up sister!

That day I was at bf's place having a nap on the mattress on the floor (too hot!! Slp on floor more cooling, not that bf bully me haha). I was nua-ing there on my side with rover amusing himself in front of me. Then I farted! And he stopped wad he was doing, looked pretty alert and then walked round me to my back. Ahhh he found the source of the stinky smell.... and wad he did? He patted my backside and walked out. I guess my fart too stinky for his sensitive nose. haha

The recent qantas promo is making all so excited. I can fly to two places for approx SGD1077 (altho promo put from $628 and yes its a far cry of the prices). And the week my exam ends conicide with my bf's aussie 2 week study break. He said he can meet me at Sdyney if I want. Woohoo... and Jingyi says she may join me too. (^_^)

SHOPPING MADNESS
This is the first time i went to Marion Centre and I know it was big but i DIN KNOW it was that HUGE... Oh my god. The best things is u can find almost every brand in that building. Major supermarket giants can co-exist in one building (like having NTUC and Cold storage together), and major upmarket dept stores (like Tangs + John Little + Metro + Isetan) all into one place... u wan Target, Kmart, Harris scaref, Myers, David Jones, Big W, all the aussie clothes brand, almost every fast food in adelaide all in ONE PLACE. Its so big that there are like 2 Wendy's and 2 Boost and each end haha...
Lucky I was supposed to just go collect one top and had bfast there, and THANK GOD i nv trasnfer money into my ATM card if not I would have walked away with 3-4 pairs of shoes within 15 mins of looking in 1 shop!! And I was in the shoes shop cuz i just happen to miss the bus and had 15 mins to spare. Imagine how much damage will there be when I be going there to OFFICIALLY SHOP after my exams??
Shopping in SG in constrast is like so Phhhhuuuppppppppp *flat and boring*. They have so many pretty clothes and dress and shoes all in bold colors and pretty deisgns here. Really SG shopping sux now. My frds and I commented that Aussie tees are so low quality and it sux. But then if u have PRETTIER CLOTHES here why buy tees. And the shoes are so my size. in SG no half size... so i have to suffer in size 7 or 8. And here the shoes altho expensive! and tagged as made in china, its so soft and come in so many colors and sizes and so far the covered shoes here fit me well. So well in fact that I dun mind spending 500 over bucks just for shoes.
I think go once after exam not enuff, must go like another time at least. Too big cannot cover everything in one day. And the cinema was so grand lor!! Cant wait!!!! Anticipating the day to shop!!!!!

Its was an amazing road trip which wouldn't have been a success without Iris as our main planner and Hee Dong as our patient, safe and excellent driver. Kiddos to everyone!! It wasnt that great a place but the company was good.

The Royal Adelaide Show Blog
It was so fun and huge with tons of things to see, buy and experience. my 8 hours there is not enough. I haven got the toffee i wanted (sold out), haven got the lil pony soft toy (canot find after the day), haven got my dino toy (stall operator bias against us basically).... Despite my disappointments, I still am quite happy.

Ferris Wheel during the day and during the night...

Its super huge and fast... my frd told me was 12 rounds, but when we went on it, it was 4 rounds only.... cheated... not cheap too.
The other ride we took - Crazy Coaster and its silver tickets. The Roller coaster with a spinning seat. Shit I scream louder than the xiao meimei beside me lor. We took the not so scary rides cuz i am a whimp! haha. The other one we took was "Ghost Ride" ermmm... go in and out and get scared by stupid things.
Shit I know i look damn fat, but the point of this pic is to show the soft toys... and the lil pony i wanted is at the back... the pic on the right is the view when I was at the top of the ferris wheel... see how high. If u think this is bad, the "Slinger" is WORSE! Its the ride tts at Clarke quay (aka bungee thingy), over here the high is like 3 times higher and the people get flung like above my ferris wheel height lor!! and 2 pax each time, lighter - so fling higher.

This is 5 times bigger then UK funfair + 10 times bigger than any EXPO event + this have ANIMALS lor!!! AUD 12.60 is well spend for the entry ticket.

These are called "showbags" where diff brands come and stuff these goodie bags with alot alot of nice stuff. There are SO MANY BAGS TO CHOOSE. But I bought mainly the mag ones cuz i like to read magazines haha.

Amazing fireworks that were let off so near the spectators. We are like sitting around the staduim and the fireworks are let off from the field in the middle. Super cool, super nice.
